Package #1 Ceremony Officiating and Ceremony (and rehearsal) Direction Includes Professional DJ at ceremony and reception.
#1 Package -- The DJ service is as good as those DJ's in other towns that cost $$$ more. On the DJ web site cost for DJ service is quite a bit more. But here, as a minister of God, I am giving you my all, but at a discount. Brides have just loved the package deal. You will get the service of Asta DJ (www.astadj.com) at a discount off of their regular price. Ceremony Officiating Pre-Ceremony, Ceremony (and Rehearsal) Directing Ceremony Audio Amplification and Music Reception DJ (4 hours at the reception) Fee: $825.00 and up I offer ceremony officiating, ceremony planning/directing and sound amplification at both the ceremony and reception. Full ceremony directing (from pre-ceremony through the recessional) and help with some of the little details that mean a lot (and look impressive) at your wedding.
I will design a ceremony based on whether you want a Civil or Religious** ceremony.
I will speak with you beforehand to learn your hopes and wishes. Everything will be arranged before the ceremony date and all plans incorporated into the pre-ceremony, ceremony and recessional. I hope that you ask your family members to read scripture or poetry or even sing a solo. Ceremonies are usually 20 minutes long, but can be tailored shorter or longer to your request.
I ask that you provide a good friend who will be the ceremony director. As I am the minister, I cannot be there to help the wedding party know when to walk out. Although I have tried at a few ceremonies to have the wedding party come out on their own, as they have already done so at the rehearsal, they balk. I had two wedding parties state they were so nervous that they just needed someone to be there to say "go". I assure you the wedding party is shown everything at the rehearsal and can do this on their own. I no longer provide an assistant as I would have to charge quite a bit more, for an assistant that watches the rehearsal and then helps for 30 min or less. I am sure you'd rather supply someone who will already be attending the rehearsal and happy to help at the ceremony. There will be a Professional DJ to provide sound amplification for the minister (me) and one additional microphone on a stand for your vows, readers, and/or music performers. The DJ will then move to your reception for a seamless transition to the reception. You and your family will be able to enjoy your wedding day as we follow your perfect plans to make this day calm and relaxing for you. {The DJ will provide reception planning and directing. Ask for details.} If you request my services outside of my local area there will be an additional fee, but I'm willing to travel anywhere in Virginia. Ceremonies are usually 20 minutes long, but can be adjusted shorter or longer at your request. I will bring an amplification device for the rehearsal* so everyone can hear what is going on. #2 Package (My Most requested package) Ceremony Officiating & Planning Rehearsal Directing (pre-ceremony, ceremony and recessional) Sound Amplification & music (usually outdoors, but can be done indoors too.) Fee: $525.00

(not planning at the rehearsal.) I will speak with you either in person or over the phone, go over your plans and wishes as to what the perfect ceremony would feel like to you. Everything will be arranged before the ceremony date and all plans incorporated into the pre-ceremony, ceremony and recessional. Ceremonies are usually 20 minutes long, but can be adjusted shorter or longer at your request. I supply my own microphone and receiver to be hooked-up through an on-site sound system, if available.
I will speak with you either in person or over the phone, go over your thoughts and wishes as to what the perfect ceremony would feel like to you. Everything will be arranged before the ceremony date and all plans incorporated into the pre-ceremony, ceremony and recessional. As the ceremony director, I will learn everything about the ceremony, people, music, etc. to create a wedding unique to you. You will be provided with an audio technician to run the sound amplification for the minister (me) and one additional microphone on a stand for your vows, readers, and/or music performers. I provide a wireless microphone to hook up to our sound system. You can provide your own music, or select from a limited list of music available for the ceremony. Please ask for details.

I will speak with you before the wedding day, to design the ceremony you'd like: Civil or religious** . At the rehearsal I will direct the part of the ceremony from once the bride is down the aisle and through the pronouncement of the couple. If you have a ceremony director, she will direct the ceremony from the grandparents being seated, through the bridesmaids and bride coming down the aisle and then again for the recessional and parents and grandparents recessing. If there are unity candles, or unity sand, the director will also take over that part of the rehearsal. I hope you will ask family members to read scripture or poetry or even sing a solo. Other services
Ceremony at your home $ 50.00 - $75.00 Inside Town Limits of Blacksburg, Christiansburg and in Radford City, with no rehearsal and less than ten guests. Must be booked at least one day in advance. There is no rehearsal and this is a simple straightforward ceremony.
Certified Copy of Marriage License $20.00 (with purchase of one of the above packages) Rev. Webb will go to the Montgomery County Courthouse or Radford City Courthouse (for licenses purchased there) and file your license, pay for and receive two certified copies, and mail them to you. Ask for more details. (I am unable to drive by either courthouse to simply drop them off to 'be faster than the mail' without payment. My prices are very inexpensive compared to all other wedding officiants and I have stood in line for 30 min or more, and have to go through security to get there. Please do not ask. I can drop them off for $15.00).
*Information: I have so many questions regarding what is a RELIGOUS service. This is still a wedding service, so I am not trying to get your guests to become a Christian, I am not doing an alter call. I am not reading pages and pages of scripture to have people learn about what Miracles Jesus did, What the 10 commandments are, How the Slaves of Egypt did a mass exodus of the city and traveled to Mt. Sinai. (Many couples thought that was what a religious service was! ) Here is what I mean by a Religious Service: My definition of a religious ceremony is to offer two prayers, one at the beginning, one at the end. I do use the word God and pray in Jesus name. I read one scripture verse. (before hand during our meeting I offer if they'd like a family member or friend to come up and read a scripture). Please talk to me about what you want in a religious service.
(Please note: if you choose not to have a rehearsal, or you do not invite me to a rehearsal because you have to have it at another location, I cannot be responsible for how the ceremony turns out. I had a bride insist that she did not want a rehearsal and another bride tell me the rehearsal had to be at another location the night before because the venue they rented had forgotten about her need for a rehearsal and rented the property. So the bride had the rehearsal elsewhere and I was not told where the rehearsal would be+. When things like this happen I do not offer a discount off of this or any package. There is a need for a proper rehearsal so that people know what to do and where to walk, stand and then recess after it's over. I encourage you to ask me questions about your wedding. No question is "stupid" or will make you look "silly", please ask. I am here to help you and make your day look beautiful! (+she had picked package 3)
